DEMYSTIFYING DATA

Discover the Power of Data in the Nonprofit Lifecycle

Are you ready to demystify why data is collected in your nonprofit work? This workshop will give program staff the tools to understand the data lifecycle in nonprofits, how your data collection practices support strategic conversations and funding decisions, and communicate your insights from your unique front-line role with clarity and confidence.

Our foundational curriculum focuses on real-world applications, providing insight into the leadership, funder and board processes happening every day. You’ll be ready to deepen your impact and advocate for the organization to make informed decisions.

  • Exploring the ethics of data management

  • Ensuring data quality and the impact of collection practices

Being part of this committee has helped me demystify what it means to be a data analyst or enthusiast. As a Black woman, this is not something that is highlighted as a field or position that I can grow in, and it increases my desire to find a role that allows space for me to dig deeper in data-based decision-making and creating data sources that are supportive to direct service workers.
